Ms. Amal Al-Sayer said ADHD is about much more than difficulty paying attention or being overly active. It is also associated with challenges in executive functioning—the skills that help us manage our lives, organize tasks, plan, make decisions, regulate our emotions, and express them in healthy ways.
During the event, the association is offering educational information, specialist consultations, and preliminary screening for signs of ADHD. Visitors can also learn about its educational programs and activities for children and parents.
The campaign’s message is to look beyond visible behavior, recognize the challenges children face, and provide appropriate emotional and educational support at home, at school, and in the community. A better understanding can make a real difference in their lives and futures.
The association thanks The Avenues management for hosting and supporting the event, as well as all sponsors, volunteers, supporters, and media organizations for helping share its message.
Our children do not need to be judged; they need to be understood, supported, and believed in.
