The Kuwait Association for Learning Differences (KALD) participated in the conference and accompanying events held at the Kuwait Center for Mental Health on the occasion of World Patient Safety Day, under the slogan “Safe Care for Every Child,” in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

The program included awareness lectures and an educational exhibition that focused on the importance of promoting patient safety in the field of mental health and spreading health awareness in the community. At the accompanying exhibition, a specialized team from the Kuwait Association for Learning Differences explained to attendees and visitors the services it provides through its diagnostic unit and integrated educational program for children with ADHD/learning disabilities, with the aim of supporting them academically and psychologically.

We were also honored by the presence of Dr. Khulood, Director of the Kuwait Center for Mental Health, who emphasized the importance of this occasion in establishing the concept of safe care and promoting community awareness.
