The Kuwait Association for Learning Differences
(KALD) organized an interactive workshop for children entitled "My
Handmade Soap and My Daily Routine," presented by Dr. Iman Al-Aradi and
Ms. Mashael Safar, with the participation of a group of children.
This workshop is part of ADHD Awareness Month, reflecting
the association's ongoing commitment to supporting children and their parents
and equipping them with the tools and skills to grow and develop with
confidence.
The workshop aimed to instill a sense of responsibility in
children through fun and practical activities. These included soap making,
learning about personal hygiene products, and an interactive memory game that
helped participants reinforce healthy daily habits in an engaging way.
The workshop also involved creating a daily routine and
encouraging children to adhere to it. Discussions were held with the children
about the meaning of responsibility and how to apply it in daily life, such as
making their beds, helping with chores, and apologizing when they make a
mistake. This approach aims to build more conscious and self-reliant
individuals.
