The Kuwaiti Association for Learning Differences (KALD) celebrated International Volunteer Day by organizing a special recognition event for its volunteers to promote the culture of volunteering and the important role individuals play in serving the community. The event, held at the Women's Cultural and Social Society, was attended by the KALD`s association board members, who expressed their deep appreciation for the volunteers who support KALD.

She added, “As we celebrate International Volunteer Day, we would like to express our deep gratitude and appreciation to all the volunteers who have been part of our journey.
The event witnessed a large attendance of the association’s friends and volunteers who participated in various activities and programs organized by the association. Among them is the Educational Testing Committee, which helped establish a diagnostic unit within the association.
In addition, KALD honored all those who contributed to the success of its program: The Comprehensive Educational program which includes teachers specializing in teaching students with learning difficulties, psychologists who provided psychological support through consultations and therapeutic sessions, and social workers who enriched the program with meaningful social activities such as promoting reading, physical exercises, and social skills.
Volunteers who participated in the success of KALD’s annual awareness campaign on attention hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) “You Are Not Alone” were given their share of appreciation.
